£400 worth of AG vouchers - What would you buy?

New irons all the way for me. Or just to be different possibly a new putter, and 1 box of of Pro V1s you have with the change.

If it was me I would probably get 3 new wedges. I bought a Bushnell V2 in the East Kilbride store last night and somehow managed to turn round an put back 3 vokey wedges I had also picked up. 1st time I have ever resisted after picking up and moving towards the till

Whatever you buy, make sure you go in armed. Take the website and price of the item you want them to price match. Hey presto discount.

I would go for a waterproof carry bag, a couple of pairs of shoes and some troos and t shirts. If you get the price match you could get 2 tops, 2 troos, and 2 shoes and the bag.

Price match all the way. And with whats left get balls or gloves

Wouldn't buy any clubs there but they do some good clothing and periphirals like electric trollys so my moeny would go on those

So they do good clothing and peripherals but avoid the clubs? Why are they fake? Am I missing something? Maybe not let them custom fit you but what's wrong with the clubs?

Anyway I would buy 400 packs of tees

Always make sure you find the cheapest price before buying as there price match is great.

It killed me today as I bought a Nike wind shirt and had to pay the full price of £50 as they where out of stoke everywhere online.

In my experience across three or four stores locally the sales staff don't know enough to fit for clubs or offer a good service in selling clubs, let alone deciphering the technical data from the launch monitor. I'd rather get a fitting from a qualified pro but of course that is just my personal point of view

I agree and I would never let them fit me but for off the rack clubs there as good as the rest. Personally I will probably be getting fitted for my future club purchases at the Belfry.

Well...I went a bit over the £400...!
I went for the...wait for it...The Callaway X Hot Pro set of irons with the project X shaft in them.
I also tried the Ping G25's and Titleist AP2 712's but loved the X Hots.
Poor bloke had to work for the money as I was in the net for well over an hour and then the haggling started :)
Also purchased a Garmin G5, at £179 that's a pretty good price for a GPS.

A world away from my old Big Berthas

A bit over the £400? Quite a bit I'd say, guessing my the online prices of the irons ;) They look pretty good though - nice one!

I know all about your haggling skills I feel sorry for the AG guy ;)

Good skills ;)

A lot of love going on for the Cally X hot pros at the moment. Even the ubiquitous Mark Crossfield is a fan and I like the look. Tempted to give the 6 iron demo a bash at the weekend and see what the fuss is about
