Hi all,
Due to impending fatherhood, I am having a clear out and have taken the decision to give away my collection of GM Subscribers Limited Edition magazines. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading every single issue for the last 5 years and I will be sad to see them go (although I am still a...
I can't stand the orange faced baboon, but the course at Aberdeen, from what I have read from Golf Monthly reviews etc it sounds like a fantastic course and I'd want to play it. If you base it purely on the golf experience and ignore the fact it's a Trump course then why wouldn't you?
What...
I visit AG Braids quite often and normally it is tidy and organised. May have been a bit messy as its still currently the January sales so they will be wanting to sell as much stock as possible even at the ridiculous prices!
Acquired a TM RBZ Stage 2 3 Wood & 4 Wood and just recently a SM5 60 Degree Wedge!
To be honest, the TM Woods' were a gift and the wedge was only £40 second hand....!
I haven't had the chance or the money to play some of the top 10 courses but I do like to see how each course is ranked every two years from GM. I must say it did surprise me to see Muirfield at No 2 but that is the opinion of the assessors. I would love to have the chance to play Trump...
1.What do you see as the "next big thing" in golf equipment? Do you think there will ever be a point where we can't develop something further?
2. What were your views on the Ryder cup last year and what do you envisage happening at the next one?

Hi all,
Recently celebrated my birthday and I have some money burning a hole in my pocket at the moment.
I'm looking into buying some new waterproofs and I am aware you cannot go wrong with Galvin Green apparel, however these items are outwith my financial budget.
I have £150-£180 to...
Great write up Jezz and I too was lucky enough to be lining the 1st fairway on that glorious Friday morning. I was stood (outside the ropes) at the point exactly where Webb Simpson's tee shot landed and there were certainly some surprised voices around. Some even agreed that this was his tactic...
Well I'm now back home in Edinburgh after our trip down south. (which included the Hanbury Manor stay and golf and visiting relatives)
I played the course (on the 4th Aug) off the yellow's and shot 84 with hired clubs as well! I was very happy with that! I must say, I didn't find it...
I definitely won't be playing off the back tees, yellows all the way for me!
Sounds like it will be a good and enjoyable course, fingers crossed for some decent weather. I'll remember and stay away from the chili jelly! hahaha
Thanks all
Hi all,
Spending 3 nights at the Hanbury Manor hotel, Hertfordshire and whilst the wife is getting pampered in the spa, I'll be playing a round on their course.
Anyone played it before? Any advice for any holes?
Cheers!
