Nearest I got was the range Sunday AM. Chris Waddle was there and I weas telling my eldest (9) who he was - he was singularly unimpressed. Can't imagine I would have been like that at 9!!! Kids these days.
I know what you are saying, but the beauty of The Open is that its the highest ranked players in the world at a given date playing each other to be the best - everybody knows that and if they aren't on the that list they don't play.
If we turn it into an invitational it will lose its...
Just watched Cloverfield and thought it good, but prefered the Korean film The Host - a similar but more rounded film.
Have No Country for Old Men on my DVD rental list, really looking forward to that.
Ha, ha - me too.
I was 'It's not the British Open you stupid XXXXXX' - insert whatever you want.
Its the Yanks trying to re-write world history to suit what they want to teach their kids, who learn through TV and Hollywood movies.
Just had a great revelation about doing this at the range - its a common problem for me also. What about those things you stick to the face of your club to see where you are striking it? Just stick it to the mat and place the ball at the front edge - you should get a good reading on where you...
I played Friday and had a game of two halves - 53 out and 45 back. Wasn't playing bad on the front 9 just kept finding the bunker, then couldn't hit a bad shot on 10-17 , including 4 pars (including a chip in for par, boy that feels good), only let myself down on 18 with a poor tee shot and...
Ooh, ooh, ooh I won, I won.
Can't wait to get home to check the magazine now - hadn't picked this up while reading it. Really excited!!!!
What to choose!!!!!!
As a Man City fan I almost cried when Terry slipped, though I thought Anelka was psyched out by Van Der Sar for his penalty when he could have put things level again - had it gone to another one who knows what would have happened?
Ah well, I'll get back to what's happening at Wentworth.
Minty
Good choice - and try to view it as a positive. I took nearly a year off recently (Aug 06 to May 07) when we sold our house and had to live with the in-laws while our new house was built (slightly different reason I know, but my game wasn't doing well either). But the rest did me good...
Not now, but have done so plenty in the past. It's just one of those things and there is nothing better at building confidence than hitting fairways (even with an iron) - you'll soon be back to drivers/woods.
Two foot sounds quite generous, I miss plenty of them!! :D
its usually less than 1 foot for gimmie's in the games I play (unless its pointless, i.e. you've lost but are compleying the course or are herrying to get round).
