Got a bit bored last xmas and as I just literally stay over the road from a course I took my putter and wedges down and practiced abit on the 6th green. Didn't see anyone at all and I was there for a good hour or two. Might take the whole bag down and get a free round in this time.

I always keep my score on golfshot as I'm going and I don't know how to check it until the end of the round. However if I've started well after 4/5 holes I'll tend to work out my score and it'll get to me as i'll be focusing trying to hard on trying to maintain the standard instead of just...

There is a good few courses around Midlothian which is still a good drive away but not that far really. Newbattle, Kings Acre, Broomieknowe to name 3. All pretty decent parkland courses.

This happens alot when I play with a certain mate of mine. He is always pushing it time wise and despite my moaning and groaning every time it doesn't stop. Very frustrating.
