Terrible news that filtered through last night. Gutted for the family, what a great guy who will be missed by many. Met Rick a few times over the past many years, mainly at Hdid meets. He sold my my Nike clubs about 6 years ago that I still use today!! He was a great guy and his loss is tragic.

Likewise, been watching it all week and keeping quiet so as to not curse it !!!!! Here's hoping they get it right for the first time ever !!!

Actual is 12.4 but I have at least one if not two medals before the 10th so who knows what it will be then, could be 12, 13, 11, 10 or 9. probably 13 though.... I'll prob not bother with food either and would prefer a decent golfer to carry me in the pairs thingy..... ;-)

Played an open a couple of weeks ago and get to the 10th hole 4 over par. 1) Topped tee shot into the waist high rough in front of the tee. 2) Played a provisional - done the same 3) Played a second provisional and managed to send it in generally the right direction for 5 off the tee...

I used to do that a lot also, read the green line the putt up and then stand over it and change my mind. Only to realise that the original line was the right one. When I miss now I know weather it was a bad read or a bad putt that has caused it. Always trust the line.

I always keep a score card, i like to write both mine and his scores on it when we complete a hole and the in the next column its a "-" if were all square, a "-X" if I'm x down or a "+x" if i'm x up. always better to have something to keep you right.
