Hi
I'm starting to get back into golf and will be looking to join a club in the new year, just hitting the range when I can to get some practice in 1st.
I've been away for over 10 years but still have all of my older kit so I'm wondering if there's any benefit in newer clubs vs my older clubs...
Hitting my left-hand 8 iron, right handed from under a tree, over a bunker to about 18" from 50 yards...didn't think it would work but it did. Have been practicing it on the range now and I'm getting quite accurate :-)
I think its better to practice whatever swing you have to start with as you get consistency, maybe not the right consistency, but you do get the feel for what you are doing.
This would then give you more understanding of your swing and when you have lessons, it becomes easier to translate ideas...
I've just changed from an inserted Odyssey White hot to a milled Taylormade Rossa. I found the feel and sound really helped with judging putts. Was averaging 37 putts per round but have now done 29 & 31 putts. I will be sticking with a milled face for a while me thinks...
Well, I finally bit the bullet and treated myself to a new putter after struggling with the old 2 ball. What a difference...
Found a lovely TM Rossa Kia Ma online after trying a couple of TM putters in DGolf.
I'd normally have 3 or 4 3 putts per round and the rest would be 2 putts. as I'd lost...
My other half is Welsh so it would have to be Ireland. I've always enjoyed watching them play and when O'Gara and O'Driscol are playing well, they are a joy to watch..
My game improved no end when i just slowed it all down 10%. I like hitting a long way but there's no point if its in the wrong direction. I expected to be hitting further when i changed irons but was trying to rely on the clubs too much and not my swing..
I've still got my Hippo plus 3 wood that I had as my main Christmas present when I was about 16.....22 years ago ish. It should be in my bag but I'm persisting with the Cleveland, for now.
Hi
I'm looking to change my Odyssey 2 ball putter and really like the look of the Cleveland BRZ range. Being a lefty, I can only get the #1 but that would be my preferred choice anyway.
Has anyone out there tried these yet?
Cheers
Steve
