Your top 5 Scenic courses in Scotland ?

6th tee @ Pitlochry some view

Pitlochry definately top of my list. And from 6th tee - absolutely - perched half way up Craigower looking away miles down the Tummel - absolutely stunning (knackering getting up there though).

Corrie in Arran is pretrty spectacular for a wee 9-holer.

Nothing on the east cost even comes close to the west.

Rothesay has the best views bar none.

Rothesay
Traigh
Spey Valley
Carrick on Loch Lomond
Pitlochry

The wee course at Crieff Hydro has some cracking views
Boat of Garten is beautiful
The views from Castle Stuart are magnificent
Royal Dornoch was pretty special too
And finally, I'd add a humble mention for my own place, West Linton Golf Club. The view from the 8th tee in particular is pretty damn good.

There are some pretty fantastic views from a previous club of mine - East Renfrewshire. From high looking north right over Glasgow to the Campsies and Kilpatrick Hills, up to Ben Lomond and the Trossachs behind.

When I was a kid (about 10 years old) I had a junior membership at Kirkcudbright Golf Club. I always remember it being a very nice and well kept course and as far as I remember it wasnt expensive.
If anyone finds themself in south west Scotland Id recommend it. I plan on going back to play there sometime soon for the first time in over 15 years!

Play it every year, they do a terrific joint offer with Brighouse Bay.
