Your Masters Champion's Dinner

In honour of Lillian English (my Grandma) and the 6 kids she raised (she had 7 but had to send one to her sisters as she simply couldn't afford to raise them all single handedly in post war Britain after her husband was killed in a coal mine in the mid 1940's)

This was the staple food of my Grandma even in the 1970's and 80's when the welfare system had started to make life a little easier for her.

Appetiser - Mucky Fat served on a buttered Maughans tea cake

Starter - Kippers with a vinegar drizzle

Main Course - Rabbit Stew served with boiled potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and mashed swede.

Desert - Victoria Sponge cake served with Carnation evaporated milk.

Edit:

Missed the drinks.

A choice of Harveys Bristol Cream, Irish Coffee, Bass Mild (pint)

Indian mixed grill like you get in the pubs, accompanied with an assortment of curries and naans, made by the chefs from Gymkhana.
Here speaks a man from the West Midlands, and I’m all for it! A nice spicy curry, hopefully Scottie gets the sh*ts and can’t play the first round!

Pudding would need to be something quite light, maybe a crème brûlée or a pavlova?

I normally just have a penguin or a club bar when I get in after all that. So I'll put an assortment of biscuits out.

6 pints Guinness as an appetiser followed by a Chicken Phall and a couple of pints of Cobra.

Recommission the Butler Cabin as a games room...pool, darts, couple of hostesses dishing out some Vodka Red Bulls.

Finally retire to accommodation via the kebab van and a large Doner, onions, chilli sauce, one of them long Chillies which arent really Chillies.

Couple of brandies as a nightcap, maybe some late night poker.

Lets see if anyone complains about the scoring in the morning. :ROFLMAO:

If these guys are going to go on tour....they need to do it properly.
