Your football team lose so you.......

Exactly this.

I have however yet to see anyone on here that are Toon fans condemn what happened yesterday which is strange.Surely they do not think what went on was ok?

I am not sure what any football fan of any team gets from causing trouble, all it does is tarnish your clubs name.

Ironic? It certainly is,in the week that Thatcher passes away English football fans take a step back into the 80's,hopefully it will disappear as fast as it returned.

Err, hello? ;)

To be fair to the OP, I think he was condemning it.

Glad someone spotted it

Some Liverpool 'supporters' did themselves no favours at Reading on Saturday. The tribute to the 96 was shown on tv, minutes silence perfectly observed by all at the game. What happened after that with the anti Thatcher songs, chants etc celebrating her death was a disgrace. Celebrating someone's death at a football match, when you have just shown your respect for 96 that died at another match.

It never ceases to amaze me how supposedly normal people turn into complete idiots when 'in football fan mode'.

It doesn't happen with fans of other sports. Rugby, both Union and League fans act sanely enough that alcohol can be served at games and opposing fans can be seated together! It's far more than 'traditional rivalry' too.

don't take many folk to change the opinion of football fans, what did you think of newcastle fans before sunday? i'll ignore the jokes following this post but you know what i mean lol

Why would I need to come on and condemn it?? If I don't does that mean I support it and was involved? What a ridiculous comment!

I was at the game yesterday, right below the sunderland fans and there was very little trouble. The only thing I seen during the match was a flare thrown from the Sunderland end into our fans.

When we left the stadium there was already hundreds of people outside who clearly hadnt been to the game and they were there with the sole intention of causing trouble. I'm not saying that no one from the stadium was involved as I'm sure they would have been, but there was people there with the intention of causing trouble no matter the result.
