Pipping hot Tetley tea at home and Tetley bitter in the pub. Coffee drinking lager louts, bah! Just as bad as soft southern wine drinking, ballet dancing woofters :D

Proper ground coffee for me made with an aereopress. Can't beat the smell of freshly ground coffee in the morning and the buzz it gives you.

Thinking about investing in a proper coffee machine bit they ain't that cheap.

Waste of money - you can't beat a cafetiere.

Trust me coffee machines ain't a waste a money if you buy a decent make such as a Gaggia.

Don't get me wrong you get a nice coffee from a cafetiere but with a coffee machine you also get a milk steamer with them to make flat whites, lattes etc.

Earl Grey at work (boss's choice)

PG or maple tea at home :D

Also partial to a rooibos or two..

If you cannot tell we have a great little shop in Winchester called Char, sells a fantastic array of tea leaves and blends which I have slowly been working my way through!

Check out their website

Tea - PG pyramid bag, Very strong, preferably made in a pot and left to brew for a while!

Coffee, well that depends. Doughe Egberts for instant. Strong fresh filter preferably and latte (milky) before bed!

PG Tips here, strong as you like with 2 sugars and a splash of milk. About 8 mugs of it a day, less at the weekend when alcohol's available.
Get the kettle on Crawford. :p

All you tea drinkers are just weird!!!

You boil the kettle.

Then you pour a bit into the cup - swill it around - and then pour it out.

You then re-boil the kettle (????)

You add the tea bag to the cup.

Once the kettle has boiled, you then add the water to the cup.

That's not too bad I hear you say........

The tea bag has to be stirred in a certain way though, doesn't it???

Three times anti-clockwise, three times clockwise.

You then leave it to brew.

Now, the brewing time is an extact science. Too short/long and the tea is ruined.

How is the time calculated???

It's the time taken to scratch one's privates, skim read The Sun and watch her next door take a shower. :D

A nice cup of coffee for me. Simple yet tasty.

Tea - simple to say - highly complex to make.

Morrison's/Asda own brand Earl Gray - both are a proper brew, unlike Twining's, which is gripe water.
Taylor's of Harrogate Java Lava Coffee which is 6 (on the packet) on the Richter scale and a great way to start the day, cafetiere or machine. Nice with a biscotto*
* I'm going to start another thread about this.
