You couldn't make this **** up!

As we are walking up the 12th hole we see a bride and groom on the road upto the club house (Not a unfamiliar view, we host wedding receptions in the club house)
As we get closer we see the group infront having a rather heated argument with what looks like the father of the bride. These two buggers aren't having their reception at our club but want to take photos on the course. They have parked 4 cars on the road upto the club (Blocking it), they have all bailed out
jumped straight onto a tee box to pose for photos, while the group infront are waiting to tee off. After the argument with the group infront they changed tactics and headed for the green we where currently putting out on. They soon turned around after another tirade from our group (very out of character for the guys I play with)
What they did next beggars belief..

The drivers of the 4 cars (All of foreign ethnicity) then do 3 point turns on a road not much wider than a car. All of them ripping up the grass in doing so. The driver with the bride and groom in decides that he's going to drive onto the course to make the maneuver easier.. he then gets stuck and revs the bollocks out of his engine tearing up the soaking grass. Finally he gets it off and they all drive off.

Took his plate and the name of the taxi company it was from and passed it to the club. Not sure what we can do about the damage.

Still a bit gob smacked!

Wow, I thought I was going to make a good post, but you beat my story for today.

I just got held up constantly for the first 4 holes of my round, and then when the fourball in front did acknowledge me, they offered me to "Skip a few holes in front" rather than play through. Great so beacuase they are slow I have to cut a few holes out of my round to accommodate them. Knobs!

Anyway your story is way more impressive!
Is your course on private land?
If so they may have been trespassing, and it could be difficult for them to deny based on the photographic evidence they have created!

Scandalous. Shame there wasn't time to do what those minicab drivers did to a clamping firm in the week and block them in so the couldn't get back out and would have been late for the reception

I read it with my mouth open, I am gob smacked! I don’t think I would believe it if I was seeing it with my own eyes. I think I might have had a tantrum about it if I was there. That said I bet the driver of the wedding car was mortified, he is charged with getting the bride in her white dress to the party, he makes the unbelievably stupid decision of driving onto wet grass. It must have quickly dawned on him when the wheels started spinning that he may not get out, stranding the pride in a quagmire. What an ass.
