Yorkshire - Help with selecting a course for Christmas

SugarPenguin - Winner of the Yorkshire Masters

that would look good in my signature :)
Who wants to be the coordinator?

I don't mind trying to organise something. If anyone wants to make suggestion I'd be happy to look into prices etc. End of March might be best, not a member so not sure when all your comps start.

I have reserved Selby just for the drainage system. Many thanks for your suggestions

I'll get a post up and running in the new year and get suggestions for courses.

My Winter League doubles partner is an ex long time member at Sitwell Park and tells me that it's a decent track there too .

indeed it is, as are Hillsborough and Hallowes if you're ever in need of a game sheffield way out. I here Hallamshire is top notch too

So I played Selby the other day and despite me having to go via Ferrybridge due to all the flooding the course was in immaculate condition.
I cannot believe how good it was especially with how the weather has been.

Members were a little stuffy though. Well - very stuffy. They wouldnt let us tee off !

It can be a bit stuffy due to the roll up system we use during the week, the pro doesn't help much either by just saying "go out when your ready" to visitors without explaining the roll up system. (sign in sheet)

Glad you enjoyed it, it does hold up very very well to rain.

Ye we did the sign up and we were on the board to come but the members still wouldnt let us tee off. Was really strange. Ended up going off the 10th
Really good mixture of holes though and to say that most of the holes run along side one another they are all quite different.

Looking forward to a forum get together for Yorkshire when somebody organises it :)
