help with a course

another ask….
we are doing westmidlands in may , and in the afternoon on way back to merthyr we looking to do a short 18 hole course
budget £40..saturday afternoon
must be on route either down m5 or through ross on wye etc…
any suggestions
we already looking at stpierre mathern, tewksbury, cotswold edge

Ross on Wye is great, will probably take visitors on Saturday afternoon.

Monmouth Golf Club is en route too.

Cotswold Edge you mentioned is fun.

South Herefordshire (just off M50) would be fairly cheap and is a great course. Ross on wye would be expensive on a Saturday for what they now charge.

I forgot about South Herefordshire… depending on budget, that’s a decent shout. I played it a couple of years ago, it isnt as good as Ross, but will be less expensive and is worth a visit on the way through.

If you’re heading through Monmouth, you’re also not far from Rolls of Monmouth..

Millionaires golf. Ross on wye is silly money now.

Just looked, its £55 in summer, £36 in winter. Heading north of "a cheap knock" I guess, but a very good course. Has a reciprocal with my course do get on for free.

Not been to the Herefordshire yet, but it's Braid and meant to be good. It's on my list.

Not played Tewkesbury in years, its ok from memory... nothing fantastic
