Just re read the criteria. Costs. I'll chuck Leeds into the mix for keeping the costs down. Probably half the price of Headingley/Bradford on a summer rate. Otley/Shipley I guess would be £40/45, Leeds/Skipton/Bingley around £30/35.

Just come back from our trip. In the end we played Ilkley and Otley. We enjoyed both, both solid 7 out of 10 courses. I expected Ilkley to be better to be honest but it was still enjoyable. No surprise as to why Monty fades the ball, Ilkley was his early stomping ground for anyone who didn't know. Danger is always to the left, right is safe ?.

Good holes at both without either going to beat you up. An enjoyable trip .

The trip was enjoyable, I didn't say the golf was good ?. Expectations are lower at this time of the year, I certainly won't be posting my card for public consumption ?
