I bought the missus an InTempo dock/speakers.

I got it "special" from ASDA for £19.99. It started crackling, so I took it back and got another which has lasted ok.

I see they are £29.99 on Amazon "reduced (my a***)"

If this is the sort of quality for £30, it's not a good sign.

I know Sony make a 20w (speaker) dock (SRS-GU10iP?) which might be good.

I have a Bose sound dock which is superb for the Iphone.

Get the portable one as we use it in the garden during the summer.

Keep an eye out in ALDI, I got a tevion one for £50 quid last year, plays everything from DVD's, CD's, memory cards and has an IDOCK on top. 2 speakers and a sub, sound quality is fantastic and is really quite loud for a small system.

Got a Bose ipod dock, and a panasonic digital radio, cd player and ipod dock. The Bose is probably the better unit, but the panasonic isn't bad. I'm not a hifi enthusiast though, so what do I know. I will be getting another Bose for the kitchen though.

A word of warning if I may.
Some docking stations dont work very well with the iphone. They are just made for the ipod.
Make sure it says "made for iphone" somewhere or you get a chance to listen to one with your iphone attached and make sure there's no interference from your iphone radio.
