Why is it they are so bloody loud...them and Cockerneeys??


Without doubt they are the 2 loudest bunch of creatures God made.

Why is that the case?

Playing a few years ago, got let though by a four ball of yanks looking for one of their groups ball. Was in a buggy and as we went past my playing partner told them to watch our for the snakes, you have never seen 4 fat old boys move so fast, it was hilarious.

Also got stuck behind 3 groups of them at Royal Dornoch a while ago, 61/2 hour round. They were taking photo’s of each over all over the course. At the Turn they even stood on the beech and got a dog walker to take a photo of them and we were standing on the tee about 100 yards away. Not sure they even knew about letting groups behind though.

Again, that's unusual. In Florida, most of them have the same moans about slow play that we have.

If you really want a slow round, try playing behind the Japs. Most of them have never seen a golf course before. Followed a 4 ball around RCD, painful.

HTL use to play at Leatherhead and it was like little Tokyo every weekend. They all had brand spanking new kit and would take ages over the ball to hit it 50 yards. They would never dream of letting anyone behind through unless you were absolutely blunt with them.
