Absolute junk, tempted to put earplugs in.
Why didn't you just change the channel??????

Coldplay - on another level.
Absolute class
There's also been some genuine talent produced by the X Factor. Leona Lewis being the most well known. You'll be pleased to know that last year's winner, Matt cardle, writes his own stuff (and co-writes with others) AND plays his own instrument! But this surely isn't possible? Since he was on the X-Factor?
If by "Absolute Class" you mean "utterly boring pretentious rubbish" then yes, I agreeSorry, but Coldplay are really, really boring.
...................... And which branch of Burger King is he working in now?
To be honest, I'm not Coldplays biggest fan (.... That'll be the wife), but I have to say that their set at Glastonbury was fantastic.
Lighthearted, colourful entertainment for a Saturday night - the ones that progress near the final are definitely talented and good luck to them if they can make a fair few bob along the way.
Just another 200 or so channels to choose from if you don't like it. Or, alternatively, you could demonstrate your total lack of a life by watching some of it and then logging onto a web based forum to complain about it.
Guys!! Mellow man
Erm he's just released his debut album which is actually pretty good. Not the usual "urban pop" stuff that is usually released by X factor winners. Proper good song writing. He has a fantastic voice too.

I think we have a differing opinions on what constitutes "Good music" :ears:
However we DO agree Coldplay are over-rated :whoo:
You'd be surprised, I probably love some of the stuff you like. I just have a wide and eclectic taste and appreciate most music having been brought up on it from a very early age and through playing the guitar.
Among my favourite "this generation" bands are Opeth (progressive death metal), Killswtich Engage (shouty metal), Iron Maiden (metal), Counting Crows (rock pop), Dream Theater (prog metal), Boo Hewerdine (folky acoustic bloke) and Jason Mraz (acoustic pop). Varied, as I said lol.
Now I really feel oldoo: - who????
don't feel bad. I love me some Boss too![]()
There - fixed it for you!![]()
