100% FIR. Yes, I would take it. I know it sounds like a 3 wood, but I don't hit mine much straighter than my driver.

No. I'm only averaging around 225 yards as it is. I would love to get my FIR over the current 41% mark from 2015 but losing that much distance would seriously affect my ability to get up on a lot of par fours

Only one round which I know is not a measure but I was 85% FIR on a recent round but averaging 25 yards shorter than you

If (big if) I could do that over a season would I swap your stats for mine, no way. An extra 25 yards but only half the FIR is not worth it

But losing 25 yards off my own distance to give me 100% FIR is equally unpalatable, driving 175 for an added 15% FIR seems like too much to lose

Yes if you're 275ish as it is (taking a 6 or 7i instead of an 8 or 9i is fine); no if you're 250 or less, making long par 4s par 5s to be played in 4 shots is no fun.

No, but I'd take a putter which could guarantee that every putt would be hit hard enough so that if it misses it'd go 1 foot past the hole.
That way I reckon I'd hole more and 3 putt less often.

No, because I only drive the ball about 210 yards and usually find the fairway anyway!

The words "Driver" and "fairway" don't often appear in the same sentence for me....unless a version of the word "miss" is between them...
That's why my 3 wood gets a workout on a very regular basis.
I'm also not as long with the driver as I should be if I compare how far my 3 wood goes......
