No for me. Mainly as HID plays and we both enjoy mixed golf. I also think the dynamics would be awful if it was just women - so much bitchiness!
This for me too.

Forget if the price was right. If local it would be a big plus for me joining.
I can't stand women on my course. It's a bad view to take but makes my blood boil. Chatting during shots. Slow play. To name two reasons..
Got to the point now I just blank them when they passed. They have been out in Saturday afternoon when I play and twice now they have cost me shots. Laughing at one another etc when am busting my balls to shoot as close to level par as I can and don't have 36 shots in the bagE
Ladies are possibly the best thing about our club , a great bunch of people, they put the smile & warmth in the place & put us men to shame when it comes to club stuffI wouldn't go near a club with just male members only
Our club is all the better for the ladies , so much of the unseen work around the club house and course is all led by the ladies along with a working group of both ladies and men
The bar is open to all and regulary see ladies there - they are play on the course every day , every single weekend medal and Stableford is open to everyone and isn't just a male medal etc - it has encouraged families to join , working ladies plus their husbands , it had increased the fields on mixed competitions and is breaking down the need for "ladies day". Each section have their own board comps.
Everything is all about balance and golf being open to all - it's part of the EGU and R&A drive and their reported upcoming charter on more inclusivity will encourage more clubs to be open to all.
Our club is thriving both on and off the course due to the improvements made in regards the course and inclusive nature of the club to the point we are full ( first time for a while ) and have a waiting list that grows each month. Our next step is stronger links to local schools
Don't, Amanda. Just don't. Some comments are not even worthy of an answer.
Id still join a men only club if it was closest to me and filled all my needs tho ..
I would have no problem joining a "male" only club but what would be more appealing would be to join a "male" only club with only Cat 1 golfers in it.....
Keep all the choppers out and let them join the local council course, now that would be right up my street.
to be fair a lot of Women golfers are better than half of the guys who play at most courses, anyone in need of more than a shot a hole should not really be allowed on the course.
Ha HaSo to clarify, you want to join a special club for men, are looking for closeness and also to get all your needs fulfilled?
Might I suggest the Blue Oyster Bar from Police Academy?
Nope wouldn't join
If for no other reason than the single gender policy is likely to be indicative to other policies & rules the club retain from a bygone age, naturally with like-minded members and that would make it just not my type of club
