Yes, though tweed ones would be classier. He needs a different top & maybe a waistecoat to show that off to its best I think.

Pity he's no longer with us. Was a sad loss & a sad day for golf when we lost him.

The intervining years would have been even more exiting had he & Tiger faced each other in recent years.

The day that Payne Stewart died I almost caused a riot in my office I was working in at the time.

It was not that long after Princess Di had sadly passed away and I happened to mention that Payne Stewart was a geater loss to me than Diana passing away!!!

Well one lady went mental at me screaming all sorts then ran into the toilets crying. I was called in by the manager who proceded to lecture me telling me I was out of order etc blah, blah, blah and told me I was getting a written warning.

I obviously told him where to go and asked to use his office phone as I was calling the regional manager and the trade union rep as he was bullying me and not allowing me to express my opinion or something more heated than that. It resulted in me telling him he was an a-hole and I was going home to grieve.

Funnily enough after getting support in my complaint against him I was moved office!!!!!!!!!

Looking back it was funny.

Some people can carry some things off well & some examples of things can look better than others.

Some modern Plus fours just look stupid. I really think care need to be taken when combining certain types of clothes, especially of certain colours or materials.

My mate has started wearing them recently and has unlimited amounts of abuse...he started with black with black,white and green socks but last week I noticed him with grey slacks and white socks on so shouted across from the 7th fairway to the 4th 'is that a new range you have brought out?' to which the reply came from 2 of his group 'it's called the COCK range....cos he looks like one!'

I'd wear them definitely. If they weren't that pricey I would have bought a pair already. One of our juniors wore them - playing off scratch - and he looked very smart. Dont know if he still uses them because he moved to Holland.
