Worst youve ever seen or heard of on one hole in a medal?

To flesh this one out a bit...

The 15 was on the first hole...

And on the hole where he took an 18, he was 13 (THIRTEEN!!!) off the tee. He hooked the first six out of bounds before putting the driver away and taking an iron.

This is empty mind golf. People often say on here about not thinking about swing mechanics. if this guy had know how to stop the hook or even just how to slice the ball instead he would not have been 13 off the tee. swinging like a idiot does this kind of thing.

Watched my mate put 4 OB Left on our 3rd a few weeks ago - At the end of the round I questioned what the funk he was doing "there's 1000yards plus of golf course on the right of that fairway and only about 15yards left before your OB"

I played my first medal on Sat and carded an 11 on an easy 400ish yard par 4. Got to admit this thread is making me feel much better about it.

Having had a small crisis of self confidence and worrying that I'll never get any better I'd like to that this thread and those poor soles who card these high single hole scores for helping me feel like I'm actually not as bad as I think I am!

Nothing to do with a medal, but if I had any trouble off a tee, I'd switch to an iron before I launched it OB. My harshest lesson, was trying to beat a bunker by getting out in 4 shots. It was not only embarrassing, but really stupid. Should have turned to the left and played out to the level ground rather than trying to clear the lip.

Learn the lesson. I don't think I've ever seen anyone take a 28 on a hole let alone it being a medal. Imagine playing a whole round with someone like that.
