Worst Club Websites!

see your banbury, raise you

the course is a hell of a lot better than either the website or the clubhouse.

OMG

That sets the bar ever lower....

I got 1,000 get-flash-plugin pop-ups all over my laptop within 20 seconds.

I simply love the fact that they felt an "enticing" feature of the club was "Eddie Stobart Trucks are the modern day trainspotters holy grail....every truck and trailer is numbered...and we have had a few down here recently..." Simply outstanding :D :D

As I am no longer a member I dont feel bad about posting this but I feel that it will take some beating as the worst

Is the course any better than the site?

Only 10 minutes from me.

not really but it was more the people there that stopped me from wanting to leave for so long. It is a really tight course with small greens that are not in the best of condition, and on the back 9 some of the fairways have next to no grass on them

I think some of the replies on here are a tad harsh to be honest. Yes, quite a few of the sites are very poor (particularly the one with the bright blue background...yuk!). However, a professional looking site with all the bells and whistles costs a serious amount of money and it is an ongoing overhead which costs year on year to keep current. It is debatable if there is any reasonable return on such an investment over the negligable cost of a basic site produced by (usually) enthusiastic members.

These vary in quality yes and as above some are out and out rank but you do get what you pay for in this life (that's why I bought a PowaKaddy yesterday LOL!) and compared with having no web presence at all anything is generally better than nothing and it's surprising how many courses do not have a website at all.
