Anyone here play WOW?

I started playing when I was working in Saudi some 5 Years ago and now run a Guild with some 150+ players from around the world.

Interesting to know if there are any Golfers here that play.

I've fancied it for a long time and even downloaded the trial version a couple of times, never gotten around to playing it though.I would love to give it a go. How much does it cost?

After you have bought the game there is a Monthly fee of $9.99
I pay 6 Monthly which is about £46.
If you do decide to play then create a char on the Dragonblight Server so you can join my Guild and get some support.

i know some people that play WOW. they have very little friends.....or life come to think of it. I think its easier for them to talk to people through a computer animated monster thing than have interaction with a human being.

I play, I have played since beta. I am lucky enough to be in the top raiding guild on our server. It is a life sap so I take the summers off the game to get on the course but in the winter I like to waist some time on it.

What server are you on?

What's wrong with having little friends? Some of my best friends are under 6 foot. :)

It is true that many people see online gaming as a 'geek' or even antisocial activity, however gaming has moved on in many ways over the last 10 Years, I have met and had some great weekends away meeting players I have met online, 2 couples in the Guild I run met playing WOW, they are now married with kids.
I play several hours most evenings, I could of course watch TV or read a book but I find interacting with people from around the globe a more satisfying experience. Not to mention I get to kill them as well....

Nothing wrong with online gaming like driving games or call of duty etc. It's the whole fantasy stuff and Harry Potter nonsense that has a very special place on my 'do not get' shelf.

Comic store guy in the Simpsons isn't a bad stereotype for this band of merry wierdos. :D
