Off to Woodhall on Sunday for two nights staying at 'The Inn' and a few rounds of golf.

I'm looking for a little advice, first where is good to eat in the village and Sunday night is masters night. The lads are a little concerned about seeing the golf do you know anywhere that will be showing in the village?

there is a conservative club on the main drag, always over a friendly welcome, cheap beer and more often than not will show the golf, maybe worth asking before ordering the beer, as for food there is a take away and a pub although I haven't used either

The golf hotel have a big screen, worth a wander up to use the bar there and watch it there, the in. Will have it on in the sports bar as well but not big screens.

Are you playing Sunday Monday Tuesday?

Yes we are playing all three days, one on Bracken two on Hotckin.

Which one is the golf hotel? the concern is somewhere being open late enough to see the end

The golf hotel is a few min walk from the inn. You will pass both on your way to the golf club from the centre of the village.

About half a mile or so to walk from The Inn to the course. You may find that The Inn is showing the golf. Check with them. It is only a phone call.

If you go in a fairway bunker, forget about the green. Just get it out.

Hoping to learn this lesson myself someday
I know, who in there right mind would go for an 80yard shot with a steep bunker face right in front of you

There is an Indian restaurant in the village that is pretty good. Also you can get to the course via a path at the back of the golf hotel. The INN has its own restaurant which is good.
