My question is, how do some of the women on the LPGA and LET tours get away with wearing what they do? I have seen some absolutely hideous outfits, some of which are bordering on the ridiculous! They can't possibly be meeting the golf courses dress codes can they!?
I am not trying to start a sexist rant/debate, but most of the men on tour (particulary the European tour) always look pretty dapper.
Your thoughts?

I agree. Some don't even wear a collar any more

I don't see the problem myself.

She's even wearing a tie!!!!

The only problem with that pic is the club is pointing right of target which may cause her to come over the top a little when she begins the downswing!

try wearing a round collarless designed for golf top costing £100+ and you won't be allowed on, wear a tatty frayed collar golf shirt that's seen better days and you'll be welcomed with open arms

To provide a little balance to this thread I'm fairly certain that there are some truly hideous items of clothing worn on the mens tour. To name but a few:

Camouflage gear - with the excuse they are support their home land troops - sorry, no excuse, get it off! Wear a more respectful badge or something.
Dayglo orange as worn by Rickie Fowler every Sunday
John Daly - in anything really!
