It's wrong if it does. More often the females pay the same but get lesser rights. And the guys still feel hard done by.....

Golfed on many occassions with ladies as part of my group... But these days my bladder is not up to lasting longer than half a dozen holes... I am sure if I was lucky enough to join up with some ladies on the course I'd find a way around my 'problem'...
Just about the etiquette... Believe it or not I still give up my seat on public transport to ladies and walk on the roadside of the pavement when passing ladies when out walking... Was brought up proper me!
just dont pee on the tee box or the green or in the wee hole on the green...

Yes, I can see why that would be a problem. However the responses to my earlier thread revealed that men often have a different interpretation of equal rights.
I presume there are no overt differences at your club so ladies can play 7 days, fully use the clubhouse etc. But what about more subtle differences... what about competitions? Do they have as many as you? Are mens comps at the weekend, ladies through the week etc...? What about team matches - when do they get tee reservations for each gender?
Mind you only a third? That's a big difference in cost even if there are subtly different conditions....

Good to see that there are clubs where the dinosaurs still roam the fairways freely. Perhaps if we moved all the dinosaurs into these clubs we could have a massive cull and help the evolutionary process along a bit.
This would then let golf move into the enlightened era of the 21st Century.
I really can't believe that people still seriously harbour views such as this. What has made men fear women so much that they can't play golf with them ?

I enjoy playing golf with women,it's a lot more relaxed and are generally quicker than a lot of men.

I don't have a problem playing with Ladies. Nor do I have a problem if they have a problem playing with me! However, I do have a problem being forced what to (or not to) do something - and this seems to have been forced upon the group. Doesn't seem to have been a particularly diplomatic introduction imo! Wouldn't be surprised if one of the group objected, just because of it being forced upon them.

The fact we only have around 10 female members and I'd say the youngest is in her late forties if they enter a men's comp play off the men's tees and same card

...My actions are not intended to be patronising just plain old fashioned gentlemanly... Most younger ladies do decline politely where as ladies of my age more readily accept my offer and intentions... Its a shame that 'progress' means losing our old values

So not enough for a viable ladies section and a male membership who don't want to play with a lady. Doesn't sound great to be honest.

I always offer my seat to a lady, or if im standing on a busy tube and some tw!t is sitting there while an old gal is standing, i'l offer his seat to her for him

I've said it before, so I might aswell say it again... I enjoy playing with women 
I have played with that very person on a hot summers day, I still remember the details fondly......I have absolutely no idea of my score, the course or year it happened though but it was a very pleasant round. We must have been playing exceptional golf though as people kept staring at us from other fairways.

I could not give a toss if it was Jordan, I go to golf to get away from women, Why do they have this massive desire to do everything men do, I have no desire to go home and start ironing and vacuuming the house. Can we not have one thing away from them for a few hours a week? If you go to the rugby..some idiot has taken them with them, same at the footy, horse racing is full of them strutting around in hats, what is wrong with wanting to get away from them for a little while?
