Was playing in a pro-am yesterday with my club pro.
29 strokes inward 9 = Awesome golf!!!!!
Him NOT me :-)
He hit driver, wedge to par 5. I couldn't see his tee shot until we got to it.

That is some sweet shooting, must have been great to watch!

29 is great, how long was that Par 5? Driver 300 wedge 120=420 yd par 5 or was it all downhill downwind?

I followed Dale Reid round Eastleigh in the Bloor Homes Classic many years ago, only a very short course with a par of 65 but she shot a 6 under 59. Bit mickey mouse but still a 59 :)

Hole was 497yds. His drive was awesome.
He went out in 36, he bogied first after hitting the top branches of a huge tree. and he bogied a long par 3, 8th I think it was.

Did it rub off, errrr, no. played ok after a slow start, missed an 8" putt.
Team finished 4th

Way back in the days when I really could play this game I managed to put together an unbelievable back 8 during our July Medal ;)

Started off with a double bogey 6 at the 10th after flying the green with my approach (hence the back 8) and then everything just went crazy. I holed good putts for three birdies, holed an approach shot for an eagle and four pars to come back in 29.

Must have used up all my good luck that day as nothing like that has ever even tried to happen since :)

Shame I'd played so poorly in the first half though ;)

Par 32 Dodger, just one of those crazy times where the approach shots went close to the pins and the putts dropped.

Nowadays I'd just like the approach shots to hit the green and the second putt to drop :)
