I'm in Aberdeen and it rained heavily all day today. And for over four hours of that I was playing golf - soaked doesn't even come close to describing me at the end!

And I get to do it all again tomorrow only it'll be windier! Deep joy!

Bleak with heavy rain showers and gale force winds. Weekend looking better but not brilliant with strong winds still knocking about. Definitely much chillier too or were we just spoiled last week?

Over 30 degrees in the Algarve today, 18 holes at Espiche tomorrow.

Currently 12 degrees here in the Carse and wet and windy with 35mm of rain since last night. The rain is most welcome as we have very little since the end of April and we need it on the farm.

Not too much though - we need the pitch in good nick for Europe - coming soon to a toon called Perth

Round 2 today at royal Aberdeen unplayable due to high winds!

My auld man was out with the seniors yesterday, started dry, by the 4th they sheltering under a tree, 10mins later they called it a day, the green they were next had turned into a pond and all three of them were standing in 2inches of water.

Just hope the sun and wind today dries the course out.

stopped raining about 10 ish quite nice at the moment. more rain forecast for the rest of the week.

Summer is back at Blairgowrie today. The course has stood up well to the 2" of rain yesterday and although windy first thing it turned out lovely this afternoon.
Overnight at home we had two trees down, a collapsed fence and several large branches torn from trees.

Still very Autumnal here with a gusty wind and some perky rain showers. Was hoping to get out and it some balls but little point in those conditions. Oh well, try again tomorrow
