Weather Stops Play

Due to certain things that have occurred this season, I/we are in a position, since the middle of August, where we have three free games of golf to get in, all at brilliant courses. Can we / have we been able to get them in? No we have not! All due to the weather. All of them require at least an hour's drive, so we'd like to combine with a stop over. But can we get two weekday dry days together? Nope. So frustrating. The current weather forecast rules out this month as well. And we are now heading into the cold rainy season and the wife's clubs are put away for the winter. Oh well maybe next year ......
