after almost 4 months of warm temperatures and little or no rain, the last couple of days its been like winter again here in Inversneck.

Rained for the last 2 days non stop and its bloody freezing, i'm temped to stick the heating on.

forecast is for more of the same for the next few days.

whats it like where you are today>

It's Scotland, if you don't like the weather hang about for 20 minutes.

In shirtsleeves fighting off midges at the bowls last night.
Plants took a bit of a bashing with wind and rain this morning.
Sunshine and showers now.

31*C and not a cloud in the sky. A bit of work in the garden this morning then a sneaky few beers in the village pub. Next door have just brought round a jar of sangria... it's tough but I'll try and cope.

Rain and cold here in NE, dry and windy tomorrow before rain returns thursday!

Very strong winds here on south coast.

I played 4 times last week and played yesterday, doubt will get out for another game until I play Foxhills on Friday, which should be a bit nicer as inland.

It was bad enough with the rain yesterday but today we were supposed to be having our day out to Morecambe Golf Club, but it was cancelled at 10am due to the state of the course and too be honest, unusually for me, I was glad it was.

Currently 12 degrees here in the Carse and wet and windy with 35mm of rain since last night. The rain is most welcome as we have very little since the end of April and we need it on the farm.

Rained all day & night yesterday and more horizontal rain until around 1pm today meant our course was closed in the morning until the flooding drained and was reopened later.

Yellow warning for wind today, which I was surprised at as it normally curry night on Fridays 😜

A tad breezy but still managed to get the gardening done :D

Yesterday we just managed to get 18 holes in with sunshine and shirt sleeves. No sooner had we sat down for food in the clubhouse, the heavens opened , and it has hardly let up since, still 11 degrees though.

Played Scarborough south cliff yesterday in torrential sideways rain. 5th (par5) I hit, Driver (nutted), 2 iron(nutted), 5 iron then wedge. The hole is only 530yrds..
Was a great experience but not be to repeated again.

I'm in Aberdeen and it rained heavily all day today. And for over four hours of that I was playing golf - soaked doesn't even come close to describing me at the end!

And I get to do it all again tomorrow only it'll be windier! Deep joy! :(

Played in a team match yesterday in heavy rain and wind. Was too warm in waterproofs for the first half and then it went colder. Was giving six shots and won four and three.
