Winter practise

As the nights draw in and the oppurtunity to get out and play is becoming limited does anyone know of any good drills to practise at the driving range?

Which has helped you most?

I pretend I'm on the course and go through the holes from 1 untill I get fed up. First take my driver, then maybe a 3 wood off the mat and then a wedge to the green, if they go where I want them to move on in my head to the next tee.

Same as Trevor. Takes a while as you need to consider the "virtual" shot and club required depending on the previous shot but feels like better practice than just smacking ball after ball.

If I'm working on a specific swing thought/tweak though then I'll focus on that and forget all about the virtual game...
