Winter glove

Issue is you struggle to find a glove that is ok in cold and wet conditions

Mac Wets are the best in wet conditions

Wintersof FJ are good in the cold

UA do some good thermal ones

I've got one of the footjoy rain gloves (black) that I bought before H4H and it's absolutely superb. The grip actually got better as it got wet, which I know is always the claim, but it was incredible to feel it in action.

I used MacWets for a couple of years but they're not pleasant when it's wet and cold.
A friend recently recommended Slazenger All Weather gloves 😱😱😱 saying they're the best he'd used. I might give them a try.

I use the FJ rain grip glove. It's just a suedey type texture but it works very well when your grips are wet. I also use their Wintersof gloves if it's cold but not wet.

How do you find the wintersof gloves? I think it might have been you who mentioned they were too thick and lacked feel, or was hard to grip the club?

It's fine, if they were thinner they wouldn't provide any warmth so it's just a compromise if I want to play in 1 or 2 degrees, ha. What I did say was I can't swing with both gloves on - I take the right one off for full swings then pop it back on again after. Otherwise I was just slicing everything - I figured I need a little more feel in the right hand that's all. Chipping and putting with both on was fine though.

Thanks. One of my friends was using winter gloves last year and it was a faff for him because he couldn't tap his watch or do other fiddly things like open a kit-kat wrapper. Think I'll just stick to putting my hands in my pockets or winter mitts when it's really cold.

My hands don't sweat...it's the UK for gods sake. Keeping important body parts warm is more important to me.....and yes, those parts as well.
Oh sorry, I didn't realise there are thermal golf glove out there. Just off to research......if I end up buying some, you'll be for the high jump!
