I'll be using Callaway Supersoft. They feel like mushy peas in the summer but seem to fly and feel much better in Cold Winter temp's

I know what you mean, did a little research last night and I think (probably wrong) there are 2 piece balls (hard) that have a low or soft compression, ie Wilson DX2.I'm reading conflicting opinions here, some are moving to a harder ball for the winter and some a softer one!
It was a bit misty when I arrived at the course yesterday so I treated myself to a sleeve of yellow balls out of my winning Pro shop credits, the only ones he had were Callaway Supersoft, and I have to say, I was stripping them down the fairways, in-fact we had 2 shortened par 4's due to the river bursting its banks which were both 260 yards to the centre of the green and although I wasn't on the green, on the 3rd I was in the front greenside bunker and on the 13th I was on the left pin high just off the green by 15ft! They felt great off the tee and I was surprised how nice they felt off the putter also. It was rather cold at first and very damp and they seemed ideal, not sure how they'd play in higher temps but they certainly get my vote for wintery conditions.
I use 'em all the time Robin. Good balls.
and cheap
