Doubt they would be fakes, not an unreasonable price for clubs released 8 years ago. I had these as my first set of irons after my beginner set and they were a good club.

I've got a set of these in my shed. Di7 fat shafts. Bought them for about £35 3 years ago. Can't give them away now as no one wants the old kit.

For a beginner they would be fine I would think. As long as they are in reasonable condition they are fine

Ideal for a beginner. Like mentioned above make sure grips are useable as that could cost an extra £40+ if they need replacing. If you get into golf then after a year or so you can upgrade.

They will always be worth £40, six months down the line you can always upgrade and won't lose a penny.

Better these as starter clubs than some of the other toot that's out there
