Dx2, plays like an ad333 or titleist velocity
Dx3, plays like a ad333 tour or nxt tour

I think a fairer comparison is that DX 2 plays like Srixon Soft Feel and DX3 feels slightly firmer playing like AD333

The DX3 while a decent ball lacks the stopping power of a Urethane ball.

Another similar feeling/performing ball to the DX3 is the Bridgestone E6

I normally play Srixon AD333 and I didn't think that the Wilson DX3 was anything like it. Certainly softer than the AD333.

Again IMHO the dx3 feels softer than a ad333, the ad333 is a two piece ball, with the dx3 being 3piece and having a very soft cover

Horses for courses and all that guff but I like em. Both of them. Dx3 for autumn and spring when the ball stops quick enough anyway, dx2 for winter as it really doesn't matter when its freezing and then fg tour or 330s for summer when the score actually matters (no off season reductions).
I would consider the srixon soft feel but hate the 333.

Managed to get rid of the DX3's I had to the far and wide patches of the course no one is ever suppose to set foot in. Wasn't too sad to see them go if I'm honest. They were better than Wilson balls I remember and decent enough around the green but I didn't really care for them and glad they were free

Firm fan of the DX3 soft, been using them for a couple of years now. For me, the DX2 are a little too hard, a bit similar to AD333 or Bridgestone e6, the DX3 is closer to the RXS330 which I used prior. I switched when the Bridgestone prices rocketed, would still play them if the price is right, but the DX3 is filling that void, both price and playability make a match for me. Tried the FG Tour as well, but no good for me, took them straight back and switched back to DX3.
