....... Very good rounds are shot when your just hitting it and finding it and hitting it again....
No worrys about where its going to go or what the flight looks like or where the shot ends up..... More often than not the misses are more acceptable than when we are concentrating a little too much....

I had 36 points today after blobbing the 1st and the 3rd but i was just ambling along carefree and just accepting where the ball was going off the tee...... Now i was still trying to play a particular shape...Sometimes i pulled it off and other times i didnt..... I wasnt worried about missing greens.........

It transpired on the back nine that i shot a 3 over gross on the back...... I probably had the winning of it in my hands but for the 1st and 3rd...But thats life...There's always tomorrow......

I know im only off 10 a wet week and im not sure if its from experience or not but i seem to be looking at the game from a different angle totally these days....... Im more careful in playing tee shots and where i want to miss rather than trying to hit every shot perfect.

Bad rounds are when you hit it..... and don't find it.

#Simples!

that combined with issues that caring about the outcome brings to any physical action -

try walking along a 4" beam 6" above the ground - then 60' above the ground; it's the same 4" beam!!!

Both true.....Id take the 6" above the ground rather than the other option Duncan:lol::thup:

Reminds me off the scene in The Fellowship of the Ring when they are running across that bridge away from the Balrog. It's maybe a yard wide, hardly difficult to run over, but when you see the fall you'd have should you stumble there's pretty much no way you'd run over that (well, other than the great fire demon chasing you down of course)

YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!

If I needed to hit a 4'' beam with my shot then 60' to the right and up would be a good position.

Same going on with me Kid - great rounds when relaxed - medal and its all over the place (not ignoring the fact that it was gale force winds which didn't help yesterday and seem to be the norm for medal days)

Usually the other way round for me though Pal... Im way more focused in medals and tend to play much better than i do in stablefords..... I tend to loose focus very esy in a stableford round.... All my best rounds are Medals....
