why do women crunch car gears?

My missus has just got into the new car and proceeded to crunch the gears into reverse, I could chuffing hear it from inside the house through the double glazing! When she got back she used the excuse "It's a new car I'm getting used to it"
Flipping heck I don't believe it

My missus drives a automatic and she still misses the feckin gears!It's a terrifying ordeal when she's designated driver and one I'm only prepared to do when drunk.

Mine thinks the clutch is an on/off switch!!!

Try to get her to feed it in smoothly as the eng revs increase but no..... every gear change is a lurch!!!

Sure she does it just to wind me up.........

Also won't drive an automatic. Can't convince her it's easier than a manual.......she won't even TRY for god's sake!!!!!

HID's dad is a driving instructor so to be fair she learned properly and is usually pretty good. It's more the looking at what is going on around outside as she drives that scares the bejeezus out of me

My missus is a very good driver. If owt, she sometimes drives a bit too fast but is very confident, even on the motorway.

Her Pug has clocked a few miles driving to many Town away matches. Crap division, they're all down south. This season she's seen the south coast more times than a bloody seagull.

Mine says that if she ever has to drive mine she won't use all the gears because 6th would confuse her

I think women trying to reverse is alot worse then crunching gears. I think it's an anti-reversing gene they are born with,same as guys are born with an anti-cleaning gene. My missus can't reverse to save her life,she would rather park a mile away into a space she can pull into rather then reverse into a space outside the door.
