Struggling to understand why the sudden stance.Bob advertised for an age and still does in certain posts.

Dodger, I would say you are promoting the club where you work and play.
You're not selling something for personnal gain.
I'd say yours is fine, but as Munro pointed out, mine was for personnal gain so I took it down

I haven't got a problem with you having a link up by the way,it just seems strange that double standards are/were practised by Mods.

Alan, to be honest, in my book if you put a link up to a golf club, no problem to me. Making a song and dance on it brings it to the forums attention and then becomes less subtle. Complaints are made when words are removed yet they are the rules so why the post mortem into this?
