Why do I have to keep rediscovering what I know years ago?

I haven't been playing well for the last few months, rarely breaking 90 or scoring more than 30 points. The other day I noticed that I was rather hitting at the ball, instead of swinging through it to a full follow through. My ball striking improved markedly both in terms of distance and accuracy once I corrected this. It's not that I didn't know that this was important! :mmm:
 
Maybe you should write all these facts down.
In a notebook i mean, as well as on here.
Along with the bit about stance, and grip. And weight.

I keep on discovering that I am slouching at address, and correcting it.
Then 3 month later reallise that I am slouching/....

Not sure he'd be ably to carry his bag with the weight of that tome :rofl::thup:
 
I got my first chance to try out my revised swing this morning. Scored 87 and 34 points, despite a few missed putts, so a definite improvement! :)

Have you changed your clubs. Sometimes having heavier shafts than you are used to can cause your swing to become a hit rather than a smooth swing.
