£3 a week starting wage at 15 years old, no O levels as they came in the following year and I would have had to stay on until 16
Mind you that £3 could have bought me 12 Dunlop 65's

How much are top balls now £5 so £60 per week for a 35 hour week.
I worked 6 x 10 to 12 hour days in the summer and 6 x 8 in the winter
