It interests me how many people choose Tigers putting -
especially considering how many times he seems to miss birdie putts in recent majors.

Gill, if you had to put your house on someone holing a 40 foot putt, who would you back? Me? I'd have Tiger every time. He seems to bag a huge amount of long putts.

I agree that he's exceptional I just don't think he's the best putter the world has ever seen.

When he putts well he is unstoppable. But there are times when he just doesn't seem to get those birdies, take this years masters as an example. I reckon that from tee to green he would have won but the putts for birdies and eagle didn't fall.

He is the man though who I'd bet my house on to get par puts from range. Sometimes his up&down ability is astonishing!

Driving: Garcia
Irons: Langer (surprised how little he has featured in this)
Short game: Seve (who else comes close?)
Putting The late great Payne Stewart (he could rival Crenshaw IMO!)
