What's also brilliant is how good Jeremy Irons was in the 3rd one as his brother, Simon. It's a shame that the other Die Hards (including 2) were/are so poor. Die Hard and Die Hard 3 are superb films, and have really stood the test of time.
Die Hard 4.0 is pretty good watch imo, I 'd put it second best after the original, Timothy Olyphant is a little weak as the 'bad guy' but the humour is good with Justin Long and Kevin Smith, the cyber hacks quite current and the action is fairly relentless.
