Who is your Favourite Modern Day Golfer?

TigerWoods.jpg

I would like to agree fully with this choice!!!

I have a few:
Kaymer - for his cool, calm and efficient manner.
Westwood - for his climb back up the rankings since being 250+.
Watson (Tom) - legend of the past, loves UK and links golf.
Fisher - much promise and seems to be a very level-headed, nice guy.
Couples - laid back, carefree, plays it like a weekend comp at the club.

I like Poulter worked his way up from the pro shop and has more belief in himself than anyone out there and does not care who knows it

Other than that big phil i was snagging the hotel he stayed in at Birkdale he is a true gent away from the cameras as well as on

Always been a fan of Tom Watson.
He comes across as being respectful and quite humble.
I hope we can still class him as modern day.
If not I'd say Westwood.

Hard to pick, its surprising when you tend to notice the club throwing tantrum merchants there are an incredible number of really good guys, Karlson, Casey, Fisher, Wilson, Harrington, Stenson, Quiros, CAstano, McDowell, and Clark but its hard to ignore the superstar that McIlroy is becoming.

These days, I like Casey and Westwood and Harrington.

Back in the good-old days, Ollie and Seve, Faldo and Woosie, Couples and Love III.

Older than that.....no flippin' idea, never knew what golf was until 1992. :)

I think Kaymer is good to watch. He's got something about him, a great belief in himself.

I like what I've seen of Poulter this year so far.

Big Karlson is another who looks to be in complete control of himself and his swing. Played really well last week.

Agree with Craw on Payne Stewart.

Other than that: Cabrera, Ross Fisher, Kaymer, McIlroy, Poulter, and any one who is either going for it, or having fun.

Failing that, the guy who's was always on telly, what's his name, you know, the swoosh guy. It'll come to me in a minute.

Nope, can't remember.

Has to be big Phil. Liked him early as he was a left hander like myself but most for his 'go for it' attitude. Is happy to loss by taking risks rather than playing safe. Makes golf interesting to watch because you never know what he is going to do!!

Jiminez for me , has been for long while. Love that guys attitude and demeanour on the course.

I'm warming to Quiros and certainly like to watch him rip through the ball , but I'm also a Paul Casey fan. Loved watching him and Donald at the Walker Cup and have followed his rise to the top with interest ever since.

Ernie Els has possibly the most graceful swing i've ever seen. If you met an alien and it asked how to play golf you'd just show him one of Ernie's videos.

I also like Miguel Angel Jimenez because of his attitude, his love of wine and cigars and because I apparently look like him....

Curly blonde/ginger ponytail - check
Beard - check
Pot belly - check
Majestic golfer - erm.... jury's still out on that one ;)

Maybe we have more in common than we think Murph, swap fisher for Garcia and I am there 100%
:D

I like quite a few at the moment, hard to pick any one individual. Have always followed Sergio, hope he can start putting some victories soon. I too like Quiros and Ross Fisher, and more recently, in no particular order RoryMac, Villegas, Adam Scott, Geoff Ogilvy and Ryo Ishikawa.

I have high hopes this year for the Fish, RoryMac and Ishikawa.
