Who cares about distance (driver) whats the most....

Had 4 birdies in a row a couple of times but the most sweetest was when i finished eagle ,birdie, birdie in a +1 73 my lowest round my track.

The reason it was so sweet was a 26 handicapper (who is a total knob) was boasting about his nett 63 the same as me ,he said he'd beat my BIH because he birdied the last, all i said was no luck mate i finished eagle ,birdie ,birdie the look on his face was priceless, needless to say he keeps very quiet after his game :)

Priceless, haha.

I did make three consequtive birdies a couple of weekends back - a 2, then a 3 and another 3. I hit the next approach to 8 feet, the ball banged against the back of the cup and landed an inch to the side - par. thats my best run so far.

I think I've had three.

In the 2.5 years I have been playing.

28hcp and proud!

Spoff nothing against high handicappers its just that one guy who hoovers up the sweep money alot but only plays enough cards to keep his handicap.

6 birdies, along with 6 pars and 6 bogeys for level par in a competition once.

Also had a 2 at all the par 3s in another competition, but not so good on the 4s and 5s. Got a few £ from the 2s club, though.

2 eagles and 2 birdies in one round come to mind foe one of my best rounds.

Thinking back i have had 4/5 birdies in one round for a 80+ losing a ball on quite a few of the other holes

I had an eagle and three birdies at Wimbledon Common once by driving the 3rd (birdie) 5th (birdie) 9th (eagle) and 15th (birdie) which are all par 4's. Ok the longest of those is around 300 or so downhill but you have to hit it straight to get it there

I've had 5 twice, both memorable for different reasons.

The first was my best ever round about 25 years ago. 5 birdies, 10 pars, 2 bogeys and a double. The 2 bogeys and double were all in the last 4 holes!

The second was last year. The 5 birdies were all 4 par 5's and a driveable par 4.

7 birdies in my last league game for the club before turning pro nearly 7 years ago, shook hands on 12th green.
Think in a strokeplay competition round my best was 5 or 6, not sure. Would rather shoot -3 with 3 birdies than shoot level with 5 birdies. Although the way my game is at the moment, would like to get it round near to par figures.......
