general all round game but thats until i get to the green ,im terrible . so its putting for me ,my HDID stats show nearly 40 per round ,that is disgraceful and im not going to make the single digit if it dosent improve.

Chipping for me. Leave too many short or duff. Which then puts pressure on my putting which is generally good. Unfortunately my club doesn't have an actual chipping green so nowhere to practice other than on the course.

I used to really struggle with driving but I have worked hard on my swing to fix it, sure there's the odd one that gets away from me but it's not as destructive as it used to be and if it goes out of place I can still play where as before I had no shot.

Game golf tells me my game from 70 yards and in is at the level of a 18 Handicapper.

Not great when your off 9 :clap:

Chipping for me, although after today's putting performance that could be not far behind.
Time and somewhere to practice these are required.

My putting and especially my chipping is better than a few of our Category 1 players. Long irons and mid irons are poor and would disgust a high handicapper. Odd as my driving, while very short, is consistent.

Short game mostly but progression made. Putting very poor in 2016 but having only played under ten times all year it's not a problem. Did some work this morning and hopefully tomorrow will give me an indication of where I go health wise and I can kick on and have a good 2016. I've still got to be beat Fish

Get yourself an anchored putter

Think I'm going to have a putting lesson, I'm rubbish at reading greens and not great at hitting the putts either!

Driving, at the moment normally 3 off the tee, twice in a round. Costing me 4 shots.

But it is getting better, almost straighten up the driving now, just need the course to dry out, so much rain recently here again, back to plugged lies.

I voted my driving since it's literally all over the place.
im playing some slick golf at the moment even though I can barely hit a fairway.
Soon as I get my driving back I'm sure my putting or some other god forsaken area of my games goes to crap.

Short chipping around the green. I'm pants at it and it's more like short yipping as far as I'm concerned.

I've known this weakness now for longer than I care to remember and if I could address it I'm sure I'd drop a shot or two.

So why haven't I done something about it?

Pathetic laziness - no other excuse :-(

Went for short irons

Really need to get them closer to the pin so that its two putt at worst, too many leave a chip on

Irons, irons and more irons at the minute! As I can't select more than one option, I won't vote...but irons!

I think it's my putting. But it's hard to tell given the greens at the moment, nothing seems to stay online.

It feels like I'm hitting a lot of good putt's but I've holed nothing over the past 3-4 months.

I'm planning to have a lesson in the next few weeks to see what's what.

I've gone with pitching here. My short game isn't terrible and has come on so far this season. What I have come to realise is that I have no idea what distance I hit my pitches and am feel based only. The next two weeks I will be working on how far I hit my pitches for each wedge to dial in the distances and hoping this gives confidence and consistency!
