Choices Choices!!
Think I will have to get some test drives and narrow it down.

I test drove the CLS350 Shooting Brake at the weekend and it was phenomenal. Boot big enough for a family to live in.
Handles beautifully for a big car.

This would be my choice, apart from I want an amg! 350 is the sensible option though.
That looks a beauty Greig, I love my Mercedes but like to change my car every 3 years and I've had this one nearly 5, not one issue mechanically with it.
Does guzzle the fuel and tyres are pretty pricey, think I can get something a lot better economically and cheaper road tax.
As an owner (albeit petrol), I'd second that but I'm not sure they still make them new; think it's either an Outback or a Levorg now.
Skodas are good cars, heated rear windows to keep your hands warm whilst your pushing it. 😁
I miss is those old Skodas jokes. Not funny anymore though

What do you call a Skoda Convertible?
A skip!
I miss those days..
My money would be on a BMW 5x0*D (best sized engine you can get, personally the 530D would be perfect)
You could house a whole family of immigrants in the back of one of them!
Mercedes E class. Big, rear wheel drive, comfy, what's not to like?

No choice for me, I'll be getting an Insignia Estate soon (Tourer model I think), at least it will have AC which my van sadly lacks.
You'll need to turn the AC to extra cold to keep you awake driving that. Just looking at one sends me to sleep :ears:
