Looking to change cars, current car is a Mercedes ML350 but looking at an Estate Car, must have a decent size engine and good boot space, not too bothered about make but would be good to have something which holds a bit of value as I normally keep a car for 3 years then change.
For Information I can get 4 trolleys and 4 golf bags in my current car 😂😂
Any recommendations.....

Ive a Passate Estate, managed 4 tour bags and a Motocaddy Elec trolley in no problem..

after all 50% of Inverness Taxi Drivers can't be wrong;)

Brian - Either the Superb or Octavia are great estate cars. One visit, two options. The Octavia is slightly smaller, although still a vast load bay, in case the overall length of the Superb is intimidating. Considering the car you have come from that should not be the case. Saves a few pennies though.

JohnnyDee on here got a Superb a short while ago. If you are tempted it may be worth sending a PM or resurrect his thread to get an update on what he thinks about it.

my only regret is not having the estate version of the Skoda Superb, mine is a 2.0d, auto, during last week I travelled 492 miles on a tank which then cost £50.83p to fill.

Downside is you would have to compromise on the resale value as I doubt it would keep it's value as much as the Mercedes it's due to replace

Skodas are good cars, heated rear windows to keep your hands warm whilst your pushing it. 😁

I miss is those old Skodas jokes. Not funny anymore though

Ive had an A6 Avant for the last 5 years (07 plate) and it has proven to be a legendary car. No frills really, however it does its job at chewing up miles nicely

Another vote for the Passat estate I have the 2.0l bluemotion, beautiful car to drive comes with loads of extras the boot is massive and I think it looks good.

Another vote for the Suoerb. I've had one for three years / 90,000 miles as a company car and just about to replace with the same. Masses of space everywhere, economical, low tax and hold their price better than you'd think. Excellent reliability record too.
