Where to watch Golf live?

I've been trying find out where some decent standard (either pro tour, pro-am, national amateur etc) tournaments will be played with a view to going along to watch. I can't seem to find anyhere that has a definitive schedule, ie, date, tournament, tour, venue etc.

I've never been to a tournament before and so don't have the foggiest. Where's the best place to look?

I'm based in the west midlands.

Pro tournaments there are no more European Tour events in England this year, likewise the Challenge tour
