Where to stay in Nottingham?

Dad's playing Sherwood forest and Hollinwell next month, anyone recommend a decent place to stay for a couple of nights please (and where to eat)

Hollinwell is only 15 minutes from Mansfield, so may be a better option

There’s a hotel next to hollinwell/coxmoor
it’s on sherwood business park. Annesley. Just off junction 27 M1.

Cant remember what the hotel is called as it’s changed a few times.

Mour Dakota is the one near J27, close to Hollinwell but not great for places to eat as it's a bit in the sticks.

Nottingham city centre has plenty of good travelodge/premier inn type places to stay. You will be spoilt for choice with places to eat near there too...Zaap Thai Restaurant is worth a look

Black Bull, Blidworth. Fab little pub in nice village, lovely rooms, seriously excellent food, lovely people that run it, 10 mins to Hollinwell.
