Where does time go?

My lad was telling me last night he has just discovered AC/DC.

couple of things
1, they were discovered 40 yrs ago.
2, the song whole lotta Rosie with a particularly catchy riff, can I heck as like remeber which lp it was on. I was sure it was on a live album when I heard it in the late seventies.

Sporting moments for me

11 years ago was the night Gerrard scored that screamer against Olympiakos:whoo:

And I watched it in a tent in Basra

26 years ago I watch Arsenal win the League Title at Anfield with a Late great Michael Thomas goal , I was in the Traincrew Messroom at Liverpool Lime Street station , The room clear out so quick and I was left on my own and i let out a yes , get in there ....................EYG

Ten years since Buncefield...
Bloomin' heck!

A good deal of Hertfordshire, North London and beyond got a loud awakening that morning...
Very 'lucky' it was of a Sunday...
Could have been much worse otherwise...

Saw that on BBC news this morning when they spoke to some of the first crews to attend. No-one killed was a miracle

I was sorting through some things as we pack for our house move, and came across a B&W photo of me sat in a pushchair(Buggy for you newbies) on a boat on the Norfolk Broads. The photo was taken in 1959. My parent clothes, the cars parked by the side of the river and the death trap of a pushchair that would slice your fingers off if you weren't careful folding it down.

And in conjunction with shark tooth's post, that's only 14 years after the end of WW2.

Did you have big hairy feet in the photo Brian :)

My baby is now 17 1/2 off to uni in September, where the heck did that go?

Mum indirectly involved in that. Was on the train next on the line behind the one that crashed. I always make sure I look out for the memorial when going up there, as I often though that could so easily have been her. Mind you I thought she had a commuting angel as she was in a similar situation at Moorgate all those years ago and in a train behind the one that crashed.

No, they were small hairy feet. My children nicknamed me Hobbit because of my size 11 hairy feet.

5 out of our 6 went to Uni, one them finishing for the second time in Sept.

Just wait till you have grandchildren, then you'll know what old feels like!!

Fixed it for you😃

Someone's got to start the invasion, whilst you cower behind your sofa.
I can only do so much missioniary work and I have so many more poor unfortunates that need my influence here in the North East. 😃
